Elza gets constantly harassed non stop in and outside of school, in big part because of her social class. Claire and her friends could keep on going like this forever… But one day, if the opportunity presents itself to make them pay for their actions, how far will she go?
Directors – Laura Petrone, Guillaume Kerbusch
Laura Petrone & Guillaume Kerbusch are a couple of Belgian directors and actors. Both come from working-class backgrounds in La Louvière and Charleroi, in the province of Hainaut in Wallonia.
Their first two short films, “Seul avec elle” and “Rien Lâcher,” were selected for several Belgian and international festivals.
As producers as well, they established “La Belge Collection,” a series of 4 short films aimed at showcasing young actors. Through this project, they garnered over 200 festival selections and around fifty awards, including the Magritte Award for Best Short Film in 2022 for “Sprötch” by Xavier Seron.
They also founded Brussels Ciné Studio, where they organize camera acting workshops, connecting filmmakers with actors and actresses, involving over 150 young artists annually.
